The delegates of the Local Government Tourism Conference held in Cessnock were able to sample a treat courtesy of the Convict Trail Project Inc. Just a sample of how destinations and products need to think differently to engage to today's audience....the tour guides were ghosts from the 1830's, helping them to understand the way it was.
Cartoscope Maps have just produced the first ever Great North Road map that enables all visitors to be given the 'ghost' tour by using QR codes on the map to take them to the stories of the past in video format.
